ACECNY Scholarships awarded to three winners from Stony Brook
As the Long Island Regional President of the American Council of Engineering Companies of NY (ACECNY) I am pleased to announce the following Scholarship Award Winners from SUNY Stony Brook:

Milan Karunaratne
Jessica Newman
Each student is awarded $2,500 towards their senior year college expenses.
A total of $37,500 of scholarship money was provided by ACECNY Member Firms for engineering students attending NYS colleges.
This is the third year in which Stony Brook students were recipients of ACECNY scholarships and the first year for multiple winners.
Congratulations to the students and the College of Engineering at Stony Brook.

Stony Brook CEAS team wins #2 in nationwide IEEE competition
Congratulations to the Stony Brook inter-departmental team of CEAS (EE/ME/CS) on its performance in the nationwide IEEE Programming Competition! Of two teams representing our university, one placed in 2nd place (with Berkeley in 3rd and a university in Spain winning 1st). We are proud of the students' achievement.
